saigon cooking school

If you've been reading up on my travels for awhile you certainly aren't surprised that I joined a cooking class in Ho Chi Minh City!   The  Saigon Cooking School class was really small and consisted of me ( the Jamaican American), an older couple from France, and a young woman from Costa Rica. I love it because it was so small and intimate. I had a really great time at the … [Read more...]

Day 3: Malaysia Street Food Tour!

March 6, 2012 By Tamara

When I was walking down the steps to exit the hostel this is what I saw: Thank you drunken man for solidifying the fact that need to stay somewhere else tonight! I stepped over him and carried on. It was 8am and nothing was open. So I headed in the direction of Times Square mall again. I passed the bench I stopped on the night before. I looked up an realized that the mall … [Read more...]

Korean Foodie Photography = KoFoTog

February 21, 2012 By Tamara

Hey family.  So here is another edition of Korean food pictures. I've decided to call these entries "KoFoTog" for Korean Foodie Photography.  Hahaha I know I know but it is a lot shorter than writing Korean Foodie Photography in the title every time.  Anyway here goes some treats! Beef stew... reminded me of oxtail! There was a bowl on the table just for … [Read more...]

Korean Street Food #1

February 20, 2012 By Tamara

I haven't done my weekly food photos in a very long time haha.
