I love skype! I love being able to keep in touch with my friends and family at home with video chatting!
When you miss your loved ones definitely go make a skype call haha ๐
Now I know the other day I wrote about Toxic Friends. But today I write about the real ones. Yes! you will meet some amazing people while traveling. Some will turn out to be life long friends. These people you will know instantly. Its a feeling…truly.
From every country that I’ve been to and the friends that I keep in contact with still today, I knew from the first meeting that they were good people.
In South Korea I have met some really cool people. Not just my Korean friends but some of the other teachers here. I’ve met people from South Africa, Europe and America.
One of my amigas from the USA is so thoughtful! She knows I am slightly obsessed with elephants. Not like “oh I want a pet elephant” lol…but I like to look at them and find elephant merchandise. On a recent trip to Seoul she came back with gifts for me that she described as “elephant-tastic”.
Check out the pictures of what she gave me!

I agree with you on the friends bit as well. It truly is a feeling/vibe you get from people. You know from the first couple of meetings if its long term or short term.
Oh, and I love your blog! I will hopefully/faithfully be traveling to Korea in August to teach with the TaLK program!
