Food of South Korea prt1

September 4, 2011 By Tamara

I’ve been in Korea for 16 days now and have been eating out quite a bit! From visitng coffee shops with friends, dinners with staff and experiencing take-out options by myself. Here is the best 16 foodie photos from the last 16 days.

August 19: Landed in Korea!

Delicious Korean sweets!

August 20 : Saturday City Tour of Ulsan. Dinner was uneventful but I thought thie soda machine was neat.
August 21: The best Mango smoothie EVER! Paris Baguette in New downtown

I met some brown people in the Lotte Department store!
August 22: Orientation food was really good! Japanese style lunch and UNIST university cafeteria dinner

Not really sure what it was but that sweet potatoe on the far right! It was so yummy:)

August 23:  Bibimbap…def my favorite Korean food so far. Its just veggies with rice and a spicy red sauce.

August 24: Breakfast at UNIST campus cafeteria…ummm different…yea very.

 Lunch at orientation: Kimbap

Dinner in Samsung-dong

Some spices on the table: Soy, cayenne and vinegar

I had fried rice and it came with a spicy soup! It was about 11,000 won for dinner.

August 25th: Last full day of orientation!… 🙁

Lunch…forgot the name but is fried rice wrapped in an omelet. I liked it and the sauce which tasted like ketchup.

The side dish: Kimchi and pickled radish

Final dinner at UNIST: Bibimbap, scallion pancake and soup. I found a cute surprise in mine!

Late night snack at 7-eleven: Noodles, fish kimbap. bread.
