So I thought my hair regimen was fool proof. I spent countless hours while I was in Spain in 2010 experimenting, shopping around, using tap water, bottled water the list goes on! Then when I returned to America I spent all of spring 2011 tweaking my regimen and even included more natural products. Like things I could find in my kitchen or the local market.
I was set! Then I decided to move to South Korea summer 2011 and here I am now…
But
I find myself back to square one! >.<
My previous regimen is a no go. I am back at the drawing board trying to figure out what will work. Until then check the “traveling haircare” section for periodic updates on my regimen.
The List of Oils and Products/styling aides I brought to South Korea:
- Castor oil
- Almond oil
- Coconut oil
- Grape seed oil (can be found in abundance in SoKo)
- Olive oil (can also be found in abundance in SoKo)
- 2 tubs of mixed shea butter (recipe on YouTube)
- Vatika Oil
- Ecostyler gel- Argan Oil version
- My favorite spray bottle ( totally unnecessary, you can find many here!)
- Suave naturals shampoo/Suave humectant conditioner ( no longer use them but loved them when I did)
- Shower comb/tail comb
- Clipping Shears
- 3 satin caps
- Tub of bobby pins (hair pins)
- Various scarves and headbands
