LACOUPE orgnx Moringa Oil Complex Moisturizing Styling Creme
So I am always on the hunt to find products that will work great in my hair when I am traveling. Primarily I prefer to mix my own styling products and bring them with me but its a good idea to know what “brand name” products will work and their rock star ingredients in case you encounter them while traveling.
Spain taught me this valuable lesson!
In The Christmas tree Shop Friday I was amazed to see that they now carry a very very vast assortment of hair products. I decided to try an find a leave-in conditioner that had these 3 key components:
- Must be extremely moisturizing and brag about it in the label
- Must smell amazing!
- Ingredients must be natural and good for your hair and skin
Now I spent about 45 minutes ( I know!) browsing and found a line called “orgnx” by LACOUPE. Which I now know is a french Canadian company in Ontario.
They have a shampoos, conditioners, and moisturizing styling cremes.
The product I picked up was the $7.99 LACOUPE orgnx Moringa Oil Complex Moisturizing Styling Creme
It met all of my criteria and had a nice blend of ingredients including moringa oil, argan, olive, and babassu oil. The orange band on the bottom means its part of their “REstore” line and its for “all hair types” and sulfate free.
Its promoted as a “leave-in styling creme…that reduces frizz…add natural body and movement with healthy shine.”
I had planned on doing mini twist so I decided to use this in conjunction with my ecostyler gel. My hair is SUPER frizzy which is annoying so I rely on leave-in conditioners. Especially one with a good creamy consistency to help my frizzes lay smooth. This was really creamy like Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner. And the bottle has a pump!
This product was really good and it smells of berries and mangoes. Well at least that’s what I could gather. But it is a really nice sweet scent none the less.
Two days later my hair is still really fragrant and not super frizzy. It also looks very moisturized and hydrated. Granted I did seal my ends with my coconut oil but I did not use anymore styling creme, just spritz of water.
I will see how my hair performs the rest of the week but I think this is a keeper. This will likely be something that I bring with me when traveling for long periods of time as a back up leave-in. I want to also try it on a beach day and see how it protects my hair after a swim in some salt water….hmmm.
UPDATE: So I kept my mini twist in for 3 weeks and my hair was frizz free! But I did use a satin scarf every night and during week two after I would moisturize with water I would then smooth some of the creme down the shafts of my hair. I’ve been using it now for almost a month and it really does its job as a moisturizing leave-in creme!

Do you know if it’s still made? My husband wants more but I don’t know what to buy him here in the US! Thanks

Hi Erika, I no longer see it on their website. But they do have a version now with Moringa and Babassu Oil.

I purchased the product with the Babassu oil and I don’t like it. It came with mousse, shampoo and conditioner and I’m very unhappy with the whole package. I’m going to see if I can return it to Amazon – it came with a Costco packing list, sold to Sahinde Peker in Richmond, B.C.
