48 hours in New York City!

August 13, 2011 By Tamara

So I received my Notice of Appointment on Monday and left for NYC Tuesday to get my work visa!

I just got back yesterday and here are some snapshots from the trip.

Union Station, Hartford.
thought the free calls were interesting…see below

What numbers would you press?

Once of the bus at Port Authority, I head straight to the consulate. They have a great library and I was able to get tons of free information guides and maps. Though all the information was basically for Seoul and I will be in Ulsan, I was still very appreciative.

Korean Consulate

Filled up on starches and salt fish and cabbage for nice Jamaican style breakfast

Mint tea

Met up with a friend here

We came here to catch up over dessert!

Chocolate and Pizza…in one??!! Fat kid heaven!

They had tons of desserts to choose from!

My option 🙂

Gooey marshmallow goodness!

My friends yummy selection!

We stopped in Rickys…Product Junkie heaven

Only in New York!

On my last day I went to find Koreatown

Fashion district was right down the street
So was Bryant Park
One day I will get to see a show here during fashion week…one day 🙂

Fun Fun Fun! I like how the “fart smeller moment” guy has his legs fashioned in a “i’m holding it in” way… Ewww. haha.
