Ulsan Diary# 1-5 :)

September 3, 2011 By Tamara

Yea…So this going to be a very long post! I’m thinking I will do weekly Ulsan updates under this “Ulsan Diary” moniker just updating on life and such.

I will also post videos and pictures here but to find info specifically on food and hair info click the tabs above and everything is organized in one place for those topics.

Anyway let me start by saying ” Annyeonhaseyo!”…That’s def the Romanized pronunciation for saying hello in Hanguel, the Korean language.

I arrived to Ulsan on 8/19/2011 and was picked up from the airport by a staff member of the U.M.O.E. (which stands for Ulsan Metropolitan office of Education).

Now I started my journey like 20 hours before being picked up but I arrived the same day as orientation so I was taken to the dorm (stayed there for 1 week) and then straight to the orientation site. Can we say tiiiirrrrreeeeddd!

And orientation ran until 6pm. Yes…I did start to fall asleep towards the end but I couldn’t help it L Once we returned to campus I took  shower and crashed. The campus was really nice and the food was OK. Check out some images below from the first few days.

Before entering the cafe there is a display showing whats for breakfast lunch or dinner
