Daegu, South Korea: IAAF World Championships!

September 4, 2011 By Tamara

Last sunday I headed out to Daegu with my new friend Abo to visit the stadium where they were having the track and field world championships.

I was under the impression that the tickets for the event were all sold out. So imagine my surprise when we were able to get two  A level seat tickets! Here is the day through pictures.

At the KTX stattion in Ulsan, we stopped for some Dunkin Donuts.

You choose your donut. Here Abo is trying to decide 🙂

There were some interesting combinations like Sweet potatoe, tomatoe and basil and banana!

I got the original donut which taste better here and its called “Original cake”

I tried the green tea latte. Its was so delicious!

KTX train. We were in car 8.

This “ajuma” stopped for about a minute to “inspect” me and my friend.
Then she laughed and walked away. Interesting experience I must say hahah.

I took a quick picture of the stadium before my camera completely died 🙁

Since  camera died I had to take pictures and video with my phone. The stadium was really nice and our seats were right infront of the women’s long jump. I couldn’t have asked for a better day both interms of weather and experience.
 My goldern ticket!
Next you will see some pictures  of Daegu shopping area and then the stadium! I also took a picture of the “press” for one of my favorite Youtubers LouLouMatou!
