Loose Twist!

November 30, 2012 By Tamara

Every natural has heard of and seen Ciprianas “loose twist” hairstyle.
However another YouTuber “Ashababe56” is the one who inspired me to give it a go!
Our hair textures is quite similar and it looks fabulous on her.
The style took me almost 3 hours to finish on detangled and deep conditioned hair.
Here are my results:
My hair has grown a bit since I left South Korea. This style is great because it showcases your length and allows you to “barbie swing” (yes I made that up) your tresses. I wore them down the first 2 days and have since been wearing my “signature” french braid. I’ve had them in for almost 2 weeks now. I’ll probably keep them in for another 2 weeks and then have Senegalese twist put in in preparation for Jamaica 🙂
Oh! For deep conditioning I tried something new. I used Tresemme Naturals conditioner with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of Castor oil. It worked quite well.
Have you tried loose twist? If so how do you like them?
